WHAT WE DO & WHO WE ARE

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Reserve, the Mounted Patrol Division, is a Non-Profit organization whose mission is to aid and assist the Sheriff's office and its deputies in protecting the lives and property of our citizens by participating in law enforcement related duties (search and rescue in remote areas), assisting with security for routine assignments, special events and promoting a genuine partnership between the office and the citizens of Lauderdale County.

Membership is an all VOLUNTEER organization of specially trained men and women who serve the residents of Lauderdale County.

Search and Rescue (SAR)

We work hard to build the necessary skills to bring your loved ones home. With training activities such as riding in the countryside and training with other Mounted Patrols, we are building our skills to offer the residents of Lauderdale County the best service we can offer.

FUNDRAISING

We have been fundraising to help purchase items needed to better serve our Search and Rescue efforts. Items such as radios, raincoats, flashlights, saddle bags, generator, LED safety gear, and materials to build de-spooking obstacles for our horses are needed to keep the volunteers & horses safe, dry, and communicating with each other. We also need a traveling command center with a water trough and other miscellaneous items to maintain the health of our horses while helping the community. Any donation will help us reach our needs.
